The Directorate of Research and Innovations is delighted to announce the resoundingsuccess of a truly groundbreaking event — the first in the MERCK-IMSU Webinar Series, hosted in collaboration with the Phytobiotechnology Research Foundation Research Group, IMSU.

Webinar Title: “Optimizing Production of Biopharmaceuticals from African Medicinal Plants in Addressing Multi Drug Resistance and Medicine Insecurity.”

This momentous webinar drew together a constellation of renowned scientists, seasoned researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the globe. Of special note were the Mexican Ambassador and a representative of the Canadian High Commission, who joined the intellectual dialogue on harnessing African medicinal plants to solve critical global health challenges.

With 126 registered participants from 8 countries, this webinar shone a bright international spotlight on IMSU’s growing reputation in phytomedicine research and biopharmaceutical innovation.
